Design and Construction to Sedimentation of On-line Pipeline withElbows

Taking a pipeline section with elbows as a whole pipeline, stress analysis and calculation are carried out to the sedimentation of pipe section with elbows by means of CAESAR II software. The calculation method can not only ensure the stress analysis meeting the needs of relative requirements, but also give corresponding displacement data, which is helpful for taking relative measures during design and construction and ensuring sedimentation safety of on-line pipeline with elbows. The author gives operating procedure and technical requirements for sedimentation of on-line pipeline with elbows and points out that construction schedule should be regulated rationally and necessary technical measures shall be taken according to field situation.
