Study on Curing Process of Fusion Bonded Epoxy Powder Coating (FBE) of Pipe

  • Curing behavior of a Pipe Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Powder Coating is tested by means of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Curing process of FBE is determined by combining DSC curves and curing behavior curves, and coating samples are prepared combined with production practice. The experimental results show 99.79 curing rate can be obtained when curing distance is 2.5m, temperature is 210℃ and pipe is needed to move 1.5m/min.
