Simulation Research on Shutdown and Restart Process of Hot Oil Pipeline by Large-scale Test Loop

  • Shutdown and restart characteristics of hot oil pipeline and the effect of correlative factors are studied through large-scale test loop under field condition. The radial temperature distribution of oil over buried pipeline is measured during shutdown process for the first time. These experimental datum, such as shutdown temperature drop of oil, restart pressure, the velocity of restart pressure wave and so on, and quantitative effect degree of correlative factors on restart process of pipeline have important reference value to hot oil pipeline's shutdown and restart calculation research.
