Comparison of Two Risk Assessment Methods in Natural Gas Shallow Freezing Unit Assessment

Two quantitative assessment methods, Dow Chemical Company Fire & Explosion Index Method and Chemical Plant Risk Degrees method are compared from the view of both element and assessment procedure in this paper. And these two methods are used to evaluate natural gas shallow freezing unit, result are given after assessment. The risk sequencing is consistent with each other according to the results. The result of comparison is discussed, and it can provide evidence for comparison between different current assessment methods.
