Evaporation and Recovery of Petroleum Products during Storage and Transportation

The producing mechanism of evaporation loss in petroleum products storage and transportation is analyzed.Based on each loss type from different origins, the separation and recovery technologies by absorption, adsorption, condensation, membrane and absorption-adsorption are introduced respectively.Then, the advantages and disadvantages of every method and application scope are discussed.The conclusion is drawn that the absorption-adsorption integrated process should be used as the focus of research and popularization in the future.
