  • The structure and operation principle of mechanical seal of oil pump are introduced in the paper. Taking 4 failures of mechanical seal of Sulzer Pump during commissioning process of WuLan Oil Pipeline for example,the author analyzes the failure cause of mechanical seal of Sulzer Pump and meanwhile 4 effective measures to protect the mechanical seal are presented.
