Exergy Analysis on Energy Loss at Compressor Stations over Gas Transmission Pipelines

  • Using the method of exergy analysis,mathematic models of energy loss at compressor station over gas transmission pipelines is established.Combined with case analysis of compressor sets,an analysis is made to the influence factors of energy loss of compressor station.Analytical results show that the exergy loss produced in the course of combustion and exhaust is highest,which can be taken as a guidance in reducing the energy loss of compressor stations.
