Pipeline Leak Monitoring Based on Multi-sensor Information Fusion

  • OPC(OLE for Process Control)is used to acquire pipeline operation parameters for remote monitoring pipeline real-time.Pipeline transient states are discriminated with process steady entropy.In order to improve the accuracy of leak recognition and leak location which are usually occurred in single sensors or same types of sensors, pipeline operation parameters, pipeline parameters and products parameters are used to fusion diagnosis.The method is used in leak monitoring of Western Crude Oil and Oil Product Pipelines in China.The results display that the method has a good function in the accuracy of leak recognition and leak location.
