Experimental Study on Compositional Formulation of Pour Point Depressant for Daqing Crude Oil

  • The paper describes the researches into the susceptibility of pour point depressant on Daqing crude oil from different blocks, which is related to physical property and carbon number distribution of Daqing oil. Based on adsorption and eutecticum theory and combined with carbon number distribution of Daqing oil, experimental research on compositional formulation of series EVA with different VA contents, also on that of effectual EVA and compounds with different functional group are performed. Experiment results indicate that EVA shows excellent performance for Daqing crude oil when the content of VA is X2 and X3, and under the same conditions, compositional formulation of series EVA with different molecular weight shows better performance than EVA with single molecular weight for Daqing crude oil from Nanyilian Block.
