Status and Analysis of Compressor Stations over Natural Gas Pipelines

Developing status quo of compressor stations over China's land natural gas transmission pipelines is described. Problems to be focused on in optimal design of compressor stations are analyzed from backup mode of compressor units, determination of compressor units and relative design of compressor stations to the application of forward technologies. The author makes analysis to the optimization of running technology, in-line monitoring and diagnosis for compressor units, introduces service situations in domestic maintenance and overhaul technologies, and puts forward suggestions about running management method of compressor stations, environmental protection & professional health and integrity management of compressor stations.
