  • The mechanism and cause of surge of centrifugal compressor are described in the article. Taking SOLAR TaurusTM 60-DRESSER-RAND CDP-416 centrifugal compressors used in Lingqiu Compressor Station for example, the paper describes the control method of the anti-surge controller of the centrifugal compressor units and gives the P+I algorithm. Based on the experiment, the surge boundary of the centrifugal compressor is determined and anti-surge countermeasures are provided which assure the centrifugal compressors running well under variable operation conditions.
