Analysis on Technique Points for Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) Utilizing Underground Salt Caves

The location of SPR's oil storage utilizing underground salt caves, the factors affecting on the stability of salt caves using as a oil storage and the seal test & monitoring technology are analyzed in the paper. In order to provide theoretical basis and consulted reference for China's salt cave construction of SPR in future, valuable experiences for SPR's oil storage constructed in salt caves using as a reference are studied.
