Application of New-type Liquid Epoxy in Rush Repair of PE Coating's Scrape

During pulling-back process of pipeline HDD engineering, rush repair of a continuous, severe and long distance scrape on PE coating of pipeline section will be made inevitably. Comparison and analysis are carried out to the schemes of rush repair with heat shrinkable tape and bicomponent new-type liquid epoxy. The result shows that the scheme with the bicomponent new-type liquid epoxy is superior over that of the heat shrinkable tape in material cost, rush repair period and application effects.
