Study on the Gas Storage and Peak Shaving with End-section of Gas Transmission Trunkline

The paper introduces some methods for determining peak shaving volume of city gas and analyzes the principle in gas storage and peak shaving with the end-section of gas transmission trunkline. Combined with actual engineering example, it is considered that the gas storage with trunkline's end-section is a convenient and flexible method to utilize the gas storage capacity of the pipeline to regulate the conflict between steady gas supply and unsteady gas supply.
