Seal Leakage Loss Analysis for Large Double Deck Floating-roof Crude Oil Storage Tank

This article describes the investigation to the leaking mechanism of single and double seal aiming at the seal structure of large domestic double deck floating-roof crude oil tank and presents the quantitative computation for the leakage loss during static storage and crude oil loading/unloading.The authors analyze the harm of oil leakage to the environment and propose specific measures to reduce oil leakage during its storage and transportation.
