Technological Improvement on TDW PIG SIG IV Scraper Passage Indicator and its Application

This paper describes the principle of TDW PIG SIG IV scraper passage indicator, analyzes the problems existed in actual pigging process and make technological improvement on TDW PIG SIG IV scraper passage indicator. The improved indicator not only solves the problem in error alarming, but also helps the operators to increase the capability in identifying the passing pig, which can effectively decrease the risk in pig receiving operation.
