Development of Stress Corrosion Simulation Solution for Pipeline Steels under Soil Environment

  • The system of simulation solution of pipeline steels in stress corrosion cracking (SCO experiment under soil environment at home and abroad are summarized in the paper. Combined with the distribution characteristics of different corrosive soils over China, the issues determining SCC study system of pipeline steel under soil environment are discussed, which provides ways to investigate stress corrosion cracking under soil environment in China, and two simulating solutions are defined to simulate Yingtan and Kuerle soil environment based on the physicochemical properties of these soils.
