Experimental Study on Antifreezing and Paraffin-Control Low-Temperature Transportation in Block Ci78

  • During the recovery of light oil, paraffin deposition in oil wells is a major factor affecting the normal production of oil wells. It can be seen from tests that antifreezing and paraffin-control and cool transportation agents can be very effective in paraffin control for reducing the freezing point of the oil and meeting the requirements of low temperature transportation in pipelines. After in-lab and field tests, the low temperature flowability of crude oil is improved through antifreezing and paraffin-control and adding cool transportation agents, and the low temperature transportation of waxy light oil is realized. By utilizing antifreezing and paraffin-control and cool transportation agents to disperse wax crystals and improve low temperature flowability of the crude oil, wellbore paraffin control as well as low temperature transportation of crude oil from wellhead to metering station, from metering station to transferring station and from transferring station to central processing unit in the entire block of Ci78 is made possible, thus wellbore paraffin control and antifreezing and low temperature transportation in pipelines are realized integrately.
