Feasibility Study on the Implementation of Energy Metering of Natural Gas

The main viewpoint of the article is about the feasibility in implementing the energy metering of natural gas in China. The authors consider that it is necessary for China to urgently convert the present trade custody transfer metering mode to international practice. The principle of energy metering and the status quo of energy metering worldwide are introduced and the feasibility in implementing energy metering in China is studied. The work needed to develop and work out China's relative standards and promote energy metering system is described. It is pointed out that implementing energy metering can fully reflect the actual value of natural gas, which can provide technical supports for the gas marketing to a rational price.
