Application of Automatic Dewaterer of Oil Tank in Oil Dewatering Practice

In allusion to the problems in dewatering process at Tuha Oil Tankfarm, a new technology for improving original techniue by installing automatic dewaterer at the inlet of oil isolation sump is presented in the paper. The operation principle, structural feature and property of the automatic dewaterer of oil tank as well as relative operating and management method are introduced and the problem in its operation is summarized, and some suggestions in its improvement are given.
