Comparison and Application to Gas Displacement Scenarios of Gas Transmission Pipelines
Gas displacement method for the commissioning of gas transmission pipeline is discussed in the paper. Four common methods for gas displacement are put forward and compared. The feasibility of the case using nitrogen in displacement isolation method without separating pig is discussed and general rule for safe gas displacement is summarized.
