Study on Thermal-like Theory in Simulation Process of Temperature Field of Oil Storage Tank

  • In the light of the issue that it is difficult to make a complete description of the temperature field of oil tanks through present measures in-situ, the article puts forward that under the condition of oil tank's simulating ambience, a model oil lank at near-field circumstances is developed and measurement is conducted for the temperature field of the oil lank. After measuring the temperature field inside the oil tank.a relationship shall be found out between both temperature fields of the oil tank and the simulating device by applying pertinent criteria to describe the conformation of the temperature field inside the oil lank for the purpose of improving operation condition, cutting down energy consumption, saving production cost and realizing longer and low temperature storage of oil. The article points out thai during the process of model development, a great lot of thermal transfer theories and similarity analysis involved in the application are the key factors relating to the successful development of the models.
