Cold Energy of LNG and its Comprehensive Utilization

With the fast growth of LNG import and construction of LNG receiving terminals in China.the huge amount of cold energy carried in LNG and its wide utilization potential are gradually realized. This paper introduces the conception of LNG cold energy, describes the characteristics of LNG cold energy in detail, and compares LNG cold energy with normal coolants. Current utilization method of LNG cold energy is given in brief. Results show that LNG cold energy can be utilized widely in industrial field and it has a highly economic benefit in energy saving.
