Analysis on the Influencing Factors of Scheduling on Batched Pipelines

When developing initial schedules for pipeline batch transportation, more attention should be paid for many factors such as energy cost, fluctuating of pressure and product contamination so as to achieving safety and economic operation. Analysis is conducted on these factors. Taking Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Product Pipeline for example, the influence of schedule variation on the product contamination downstream is discussed.
