Rheology of Natucal Gas Hydrate Slurry:a review of the State of the Art

Abstract
This review represents some previous works with respect to natural gas hydrate (NGH) slurry's rheology. In this review, some methods for the characterization of the slurry's rheology and some empirical equations modeling rheological behaviors of slurries are presented. It focuses on the influence of various parameters such as solid concentration, particle size and distribution, shear rate, pressure, and temperature on the rheology of the slurry. The authors suggest that the work for further studying on the mechanisms of the slurry's rheology should be carried out for the purpose of transporting oil and gas as transporting natural gas hydrate slurry.
