The Application of Variable Frequency Control System in Heat Medium Fuel Oil System

The paper introduces the performance, constitution and basic work principle of the variable frequency control system and make a comparable analysis to the application effectiveness of the system in Xiongyue Pumping Station. The result shows that adopting this system not only can balance automatically the pressure of fuel oil, but also cut down the consumption of oil and/or power and elongate the service life of the fuel oil pump as well. According to statistics, the cost of this system can be recovered in the same year from the saved power and upkeep cost, with a remarkable economic benefit.
