Weishaupt WK50 Dual Block Burner Applied to RML-Ⅱ 4650 kW Heat Medium Heater

Tieling Pumping Station is a pivotal station in the Northeast Oil Pipeline Networks, and 4 RML-Ⅱ 4650 kW heat medium heaters have been working in the station from 1970s. To improve the performance, safety and efficiency of the old heaters, Weishaupt WK50 Dual Block Burner from Germany is proposed to be applied to the domestic old heaters. The installation and operation results display that the new burner is suitable for the old heater, with easier operation and lower trouble rate. Operation parameters obtained from the new burner is satisfactory, in which, heater efficiency is at 91.1%, excess air ratio is 1.23 and oxygen content is 4.3%.
