Pipeline Tunnel Design on Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline Project

  • Taking the tunnel of Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline Project for example, authors summary the design characteristics of the pipeline tunnel, and point out that the design program's determination on the pipeline tunnel should take project's function and demand into account based on geological conditions and different pipeline route comparison scenarios, especially a technical and economic evaluation. Authors point out that the design in laying-out tunnel's pipeline axial line should meet the requirements of pipeline laying and feasibility and safety in tunnel construction. Design cases for different pipeline tunnels are given in the paper.
