The Application of Correlation Dimension Based Leak Location for Pipelines

The method using instantaneous pressure wave for pipeline leak detection and location is widely used in practice. Based on the calculation and analysis of the chaos-correlation dimension for pipeline leak detection, the author farther applies the correlation dimension analysis method to pipeline leak location negative pressure-based. Off-line experiment with actually historical data of industrial pipelines demonstrates the validity of the method.
