Application of Blending Method in the Variation of Natural Gas Heating Value

The authors consider that current heating value of pipeline gas is higher than the city gas needed, and to solve the problem to realize the gas'utilization in economy, the low cost blending method should be adopted to vary the LNG's heating value. Therefore, the study and analysis are carried out on the laying out of blending equipments for gas or air at gaseous state including process and controlling scenario.The paper describes the application feasibility of blending method in the variation of LNG heating value.
