Practice in Wet Natural Transmission of West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline

  • For the West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline, the gas components vary induced by the upstream source, the dew point of gas transmitted is deviated greatly from the original design parameter, or neither domestic relative standards/codes nor international relative standards/codes. The authors point out that, some countermeasures taken like removing the water within pipeline, increasing the temperature either fuel gas of combustion or gas of dry gas seal are effective to transmit the gas with the high dew point, however, for the compressors there still be troubles in non-stop running time and fault shut-down times under the normal operating condition. In the light of these problems, relative solutions are made.
