Application and Safety Analysis on Security of Insulating Joint for Long Distance Pipelines

  • For the insulating joint of long distance pipeline, the relative design scenario is presented according to the structures' requirements in higher insulating capacity, sound sealing performance, excellent rigidity, longer service life and maintenance-free. The technical issues to be focused on are given in selection of structures, installation of lining or coating used for the non-conductive medium, dimensional stability between the sealing groove and sealing gasket, quality control of welding process, injection time of up-down filler and connection between the joint and pipeline.
