The Development of Non-heating Shrinkable Tape Used in Field Coating for Welded Joint

The authors provides a method to carry out the field coating for welded joint with non-heating shrinkable tape for 3PE pipe based on the outer layer polyethylene of 3PE manufactured by non-polar material. This paper introduces the development process and technical indexes of this tape from solventless epoxy primer and solvent rapid-curing primer, modified study on the structure, performance and PVC sheet of inner coating bonding sheet including candidate solvents.
