Feasibility Study on Integral Lifting Scheme of 50000 m³ Floating Root Storage Tank

With previous successful experiences in lifting tanks with different sizes, the authors put forward an integral lifting scheme for a 50000 m³ floating roof oil storage tank. The stability and partial stress the scheme involved in are calculated and verified for different operation conditions. Some problems in feasibility study of this scheme is brought forward.
