Study on Numerical Simulation of Contaminated Volume for Shutdown Batching Pipeline

  • Aimed at the phenomenon of shutdown batching pipeline, effectiveness of the gravity of oil products in the duct, the 3D unsteady contamination numerical calculation mode is set up, from mass and momentum transfer coupling, based on PHOENICS 3.6 software. The analysis is made on the contamination mechanism under the shutdown conditions for the former diesel oil-back gasoline, the uphill pipeline or downhill pipeline and so on.
