Niche GA-based Gray Model to Predict Corrosion Rate of Natural Gas Pipeline

The Niche GA-based gray model is established to predict the corrosion rate of natural gas pipeline. This model is applied to a gas pipeline in Sichuan province to forecast its corrosion rate and corrosion depth. The prediction results show that the relative errors predicted are less than the given references, and is a better model to predict the corrosion rate and corrosion depth of natural gas pipelines.
