Case Analysis and Solutions to the Bottom Plate Corrosion of Vertical Oil Tank

During the operating of oil tank, natural corrosion, medium corrosion and erosion corrosion will make the oil tank to damage. In the light of structure and operation behavior of oil tank, an overall investigation on the bottom plate corrosion of oil tank is made. The paper analyses the corrosion mechanism of bottom plate of oil tank located in pumping station, puts forward some protection measures including improving the technology design of oil tank, applying available steel material and utilize the CP technology.
