Corrosion Analysis of Sulfide on Russian Crude Oil and Kazakhstan Crude Oil

The content of overall sulfide and distribution of active sulfide in Russian Crude Oil and Kazakhstan Crude Oil are analyzed by means of experiment and examination, and the relationship between active sulfide and overall sulfide and that of active sulfide and corrosion are discussed. To observe the corrosivity of sulfide of this two crude oils to X70 and X60 pipe steel, the open circuit potential test with oil is carried out. The test results show that the anti-corrosion capability of X70 pipe steel is better than X60 pipe steel.
