Abstract
The 3-pipe transportation process(oil gathering pipeline, heating water pipeline and water backflow pipeline)is used in Oil Production Company of Northern China Oilfield. The corrosion problem is founded in heating water pipeline. The analysis result shows that the dissolved oxygen is major factor of corrosion, and the higher the dissolved oxygen content, the stronger the corrosivity to the pipe metal. The experiment and comparison are made to select an effective deoxidization material to protect the heating water pipeline. The sponge-iron is a good candidate with an excellent "reproduction" characteristic during the cleaning. It is pointed out that the deoxidization and inhabitation can be realized with this filtering material to protect the heating water pipeline from corrosion.
