The Progress and Review on Numerical Simulation for Soil Temperature Field around Oil Pipelines Buried in Frozen Ground Area

  • The common problem of soil temperature field around oil pipelines buried in frozen ground area is the freezing damage. To study freezing damage and take scientific and effective measures to prevent it, the changes of the soil temperature field between the frozen-thaw process, the relationship between the temperature field and moisture field must be firstly predicted. In this paper, the study on the coupled temperature and moisture fields on frozen ground area and soil temperature field around oil pipelines by researchers all over the world is summarized. The suggestions on the numerical simulation of soil temperature field around oil pipelines buried on frozen ground area are carried out.
