Transient Numerical Simulation for Gas-liquid Two-phase Flow

  • To exploit the offshore and desert oilfield more economically, people focus attention on the multiphase mixture transportation technique due to its advantages. Therefore, the software for transient multiphase flow simulation is paid more attention. Two-fluid model is the most popular one but it is difficult problem to solve it, little information can be found about how to solve it for business monopoly. A successful attempt is presented in this paper with Finite Volume Method and SIMPLE-MF, which is the extension for SIMPLE in multiphase flow, is applied, and a program named TMFS for transient multiphase flow simulation is developed.
