Prediction on the Development Trend of Gas Pipeline Industry in China

In this paper, the author analyzes and predicts the development trend of gas industry in China from 6 facets of the oil and gas resources, downstream market of natural gas, the pressing to reform energy structure, the direction to develop the gas transmission pipeline and strain-based pipeline design. It is pointed out that China's gas pipeline industry will leap forward in future 20 years and necessary preparations in pipeline design, technology progress and management should be made so as to bring itself important function into full play in the adjustment of energy structure.
