Analysis on the Allowed Stress of Pressure Vessel for Stations or Tank Farms of Long Distance Pipeline

This article presents three solutions in the parameters determination of allowed stress of pressure vessel involved in the stations or tank farms of long distance pipeline. Due to the difference in hydrostatic test parameters of pressure vessel desighed by factory and that of field installation, the leakage occurs at the flange gasket and weld beam. Therefore, the comparison and analysis are carried out on the stress of pressure vessel and common pipe steel produced in hydrostatic test so as to find out a solution for the application of pressure vessel.
