Discussion on the Safety Distance and Space of High-tension Transmission Line over Buried Pipelines

The safety distance and space of high-tension transmission line over buried pipelines is analyzed. Based on the possible hazard factors and environmental conditions for oil and gas pipelines and relative standards and codes, the authors point out that the parallel safety distance of high-tension transmission line over buried pipelines should not be low than 20 meters, while it crosses over the pipelines, the safety grounding distance of steel tower of high-tension transmission line over pipelines should not be low than 20 meters.
