Construction and Safety Information of Main Pipelines in Russia

The preferred manner to transport oil, gas and petroleum product is pipeline, while the most important work for operator to do is to maintain safe operation of pipeline. This paper introduces the construction and safety of main pipelines transporting oil, gas, petroleum product and ammonia in Russia, analyzes the accidents and accidental causes of pipelines, aiming at providing a referential experience for the daily operation management, monitoring and accident prevention of pipeline transportation of China's pipeline industry.
