Mechanical Properties Testing on Domestic X80 Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding Pipe

  • The mechanical properties, such as tensile, Chappy impact, microhardness and drop weight tear test of X80 grade plate and its longitudinal submerged arc welding (LSAW) pipe made of JCOE process are tested, and the results show that all the properties of the domestic LSAW pipe of X80 grade complied with API 5L, which shows that China is capable of manufacturing the LSAW X80 pipe.
