Field Test on Pipeline Transportation with DRA in Huangdao-Qilu Sinopec Oil Pipeline

This paper describes the field application of oil pipelining with HG-type DRA in Huangdao-Qilu Sinopec Oil Pipeline, discusses the relationship between pressure, power and throughput after DRA injected, studies the influence of dispersion of DRA on pipeline operation. The site application shows that HG type DRA has remarkable drag reduction effect and throughput increasing capacity for imported oils.
