The Feasibility Study on Capsule Technology to Extra-viscous Oil for Pipeline Transportation at Ambient Temperature

  • This paper introduces the feasibility study on capsule technology to extra-viscous oil (produced from Kelamayi Oilfield) for pipeline transportation at ambient temperature. This extra-viscous oil is difficult to transport at ambient temperature. The indoor transportation experiment, including pipeline simulation and separation, on this kind of oil at ambient temperature is made with the capsule technology developed by the authors. The experimental results show that this transportation technology is feasible.
