Unsteady Flow Analysis of Oil Transmission Pipeline with Free Gas

In the light of transient flow of oil pipeline with free air, a separate bubble distributed model for the treatment of a transient flow in a two-phase mixture of low free-gas content is given. The method of characteristics is utilized to reliably handle the model and the computer program is developed by considering of variable-wave-speed along pipeline. The model and algorithm proposed in this paper are proved feasible by practical example.
