Calculation on Shut down and Restart-up Pressure of Buried Waxy Crude Oil Pipeline

In allusion to the problem of shut down and restart-up during the operation of Zhongmu-Luoyang Oil Pipeline, this paper presents some theories and calculation methods to try to solve it, establishes hydraulic model of pipeline restart-up on the basis of pipe flow analysis and restart-up pressure. Meanwhile, an analysis on the calculation results of shut down restart-up pressure in different months is carried out, which provides a safe assessment way for the pipeline operation and is of instructive significance to optimize the pipeline operation and obtain the operation profits.
